— WHO WE ARE —
Edley’s Bar-B-Que is family owned and operated by its founders, Will and Catharine Newman. The first location was opened in 2011 in the 12South Neighborhood of Nashville, TN. They eventually opened two other locations in Nashville as well as an Edley’s Bar-B-Que in Chattanooga, TN. It has been recognized by publications such as Southern Living, USA Today, and Garden & Gun. Edley’s Bar-B-Que has been awarded Best Bar-B-Que in Nashville for four years by the readers of The Nashville Scene.

At Edley’s Bar-B-Que we pride ourselves with not taking any shortcuts in the kitchen. Our meats are smoked low and slow using Southern white oak. The sides are made from scratch daily with the same amount of attention. We also offer a full bar for our guests, including our famous bushwacker and multiple craft beers on tap.
Edley’s offers catering that varies from corporate lunches to weddings and formal events. All locations offer takeout and delivery as well. We believe in the importance of supporting our community and welcoming our guests like family. Edley’s Bar-B-Que remains owned and operated and we strive to win over guests one plate at a time.

Edley’s is named in honor of Will’s late grandfather, Edley Newman. George Edley Newman, Jr was born in 1907 in the farming community of Viola, TN. He left a legacy of generosity, hard work and Southern hospitality. The Edley’s Bar-B-Que concept is not only a Tribute to All Things Southern, it’s a tribute to him.
Some companies have a mission statement. At Edley’s, we have our Southern Soul. It guides us in everything we do and we take it very seriously.
